This guy wrangled us in off the street and fed us a really nice lunch. He was concerned that we didn’t have anything to eat or anywhere to sleep.I think he was willing to put us up for the night too but it’s only 11:20 am and we still have another 9 or 10 miles to walk. Southern (China) hospitality. There’s nothing better!
You two are sure running into a lot of very nice folks! I wonder if that is inherent in Chinese culture? I wonder what you would run into walking across the USA?
Who does Doug’s hair & make-up…he always looks the same…but you Micae are always different…cultural thing?
Doug has had his head shaved twice since we’ve been here and had a beard trim once as well. What looks different about me is that my hair gets more and more dry every day. It’s a lost cause.
